IIS 7 Setup Overview

Upgraded to Vista Home Premium from XP Professional. Upgrade went smoothly - can't complain. Once there, though....

Where do I start? I guess the most irritating part is the elevated IDIOT quotient of the whole "VISTA" experience. Especially the numbingly STUPID - NO MORONIC AND STUPID - attempts at security.
I log in as an administrator, yet I have to approve many actions, not once, not twice but three times!!! It's like there's a little imbecile in my computer asking - "duuuuh, are you sure you want to do this?"

I have problems with video drivers - Intel's, and they are the latest, both Explorer and Internet explorer crap out constantly - yeah, no blue screen of death, but you still loose what you were doing. Internet Explorer cannot open by itself, it always asks for the location of the file. Mozilla doesn't work well - gee is this MS's way of making Explorer more popular?(innocent & naive smile) - nor does Internet Explorer, I am having terrible problems with transactions hanging or just not going through.

All in all, a good attempt by MS for additional income, but a lousy, bug ridden, new OS. Must be an even version.

XP Professional is way, way superior, more intuitive, more operationally efficient, and more direct. I don't blame the guy for going to Mac or those who opt for Linux...

My adice? Wait for the next version, this is like Windows Millenium, another complete disaster.
